I received an email today from the Texas Institute of Letters notifying me that my YA novel The Smoking Mirror has been selected as a finalist for their H-E-B Award for Best Young Adult Book. The award winner will be publicly announced at the 2016 Awards Banquet in Austin on Saturday, April 16.
